As per the Societies Act of Nova Scotia and the By-Laws of the Bangladesh Canada Friendship Society (BCFS), the Board of Directors (BOD) is inviting all Society members to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on December 18, 2021. Following the AGM, we will have lunch, festivities, and cultural programs celebrating the December 16th Victory Day of Bangladesh. Please see below the details:

• Date & Time: December 18, 2021; 11AM-4PM

• AGM Agenda Items:
  1. Approval of the agenda
  2. Approval of minutes
  3. Business arising from past meetings
  4. Remarks from the President
  5. Treasurer report & financial statements
  6. Election of society officers
  7. Other business

• Vote in members’ meetings to elect any member to the governance body of the BCFS.
• Be elected as Society Officers yourself and lead BCFS into the future.
• Have first-come access to various social programs and services.
• Receive a 20% discount over any program and service fees of the Society.

We will also have a “Children’s Creative Art Gallery” to showcase the various crafts and creative talents of our children. Please encourage your children to do creative arts around the theme of “Bangladesh” and bring them on December 18 for showcasing at the event.
